Default NEC HT1100

I have an NEC HT1100 TV projector that's not working. My son recently
graduated from Univ. of NC and they had this unit at the college only for
about a month. They were using it during a bad electrical storm up there
and it quit. He's brought it down to me as we figure it's likely just a
power supply problem. I've tried NEC and several service centers for a
schematic for this thing with no luck. I used to do electronic repair years
ago but have been away from it for a while, but still have some test equip.
I figure if I could get a schematic, and it was just a power supply problem,
I could likely repair it. Anything more than that and I'll have to send it
to a center in Jacksonville, Fla. If anyone has a schematic for this unit
or knows where I can get one, I'd really appreciate it. I'd be willing to
pay whatever the provider wanted duplicating and sending any schematics,
etc. Thanks very much for any help.
