Sanyo TV Loses Picture
Hello
i have a Sanyo TV (model: avm-2524u) and it loses picture (i get the ants or snow). When i first turn it on the picture is great and i get sound, then it flashes and goes to the ants. Very rarely it can go for most of the day without anyproblem, but the next day it goes back to this. I have tried unplugging and repluggin back in with no luck. Once this happens i have to unplug it and wait a while to try again for signal. Oh and btw it is connected through coaxal as there is no other type of connection on the back. i can however watch tv on it via the local air waves when i flip through the channels once the signal cuts out. the coax is good i have tried connecting another tv and it works great in fact i have connected a splitter on the same cable to make sure that i have siganl when it has gone out. i have open it up and looked for loose wires or broken saughter points but i can not find anythin. any help would be much apprecieated. The best suggestion you could receive is to put the rear cover back on the
television and TAKE it to a service shop for, at the very least, a repair cost estimate so you can make an intelligent repair decision. -- Best Regards, Daniel Sofie Electronics Supply & Repair - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - wrote in message oups.com... 39 kohm resistor feeding the +33 volt line. R 807
I think. Tuner can need soldering, or possibly a reuild, but the 33 volt line supply is most common. Sky. wrote in message oups.com...
