CTX EX951F monitor

The light next to the button comes on like normal and the monitor hums
as it powers up. But there is no image there. I read one tip that said
replace C125. But I don't know what that is. So, if you can help on my
clueless question, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

CTX EX951F monitor

Jim,

C125 is the part number of a capacitor on the monitor chassis. I don't see
that in the parts list though. You can find a service manual on the
internet.

Be aware that deadly voltages exist inside a monitor chassis. Electronics
repair can be a fun and rewarding pasttime however a large dose of caution
is advised. Check out the repair faq (www.repairfaq.org) for general tips
on safety tips, diagnosis and repair.

Good luck and be carefull...
