Source for 2n406/AC125 transistor?
 
Need one or equivalent for an old tv remote control, anybody got one
they want to sell me or know of a cheap source lemme know, thanks

The 2n406 crosses to a NTE102A.
Since this is a old germanium type transistor I suspect you will have a
hard time finding the original so go with the NTE sub, you can purchase
from most electronic suppliers such as MCM Electronics (phone
1-800-543-4330), the website can easily be found with a google search.

OK thanks I will poke around on that part #. I found some 2SB54s on
ebay which also look to be compatible too, this is not some cosmetic
perfection job, just want one that works. (there's only 1 transistor
in there!)

In that case a silicon transistor of similar or better spec will do the job
just fine.
