Source for 2n406/AC125 transistor?
frenchy:
The 2n406 crosses to a NTE102A. Since this is a old germanium type transistor I suspect you will have a hard time finding the original so go with the NTE sub, you can purchase from most electronic suppliers such as MCM Electronics (phone 1-800-543-4330), the website can easily be found with a google search. electricitym |

OK thanks I will poke around on that part #. I found some 2SB54s on
ebay which also look to be compatible too, this is not some cosmetic perfection job, just want one that works. (there's only 1 transistor in there!) Frenchy |

Frenchy In that case a silicon transistor of similar or better spec will do the job just fine. Dave |
