CTC 203 common failure.

When repairing these chassis, it's been my understanding
that if you "catch" these units before the horizontal drive
coil gets bad, & repair it, it won't fail. None of the sets
I have done this repair on (with other issues), have ever
come back, with that problem, at least over my 60 day
warranty. Thoughts, Rono.

That is a prime failure in these sets, which in turn can cause failure of
the horiz output device. I have also seen quite a few 203 chassis with LOPT
failures also, not specifically related to the specific coil in the base
circuitry of the horiz output device. I.E L14401 & similar. BTW this coil
design had been used in many previous Thomsom chassis with ocassional
problems being generated but the 203 seems to be a real bugger with them.
