Default JVC GR_SXM520 camcorder power zoom lever

I need to replace the power zoom lever in a JVC GR-SXM520 camcorder.
Does anyone have the repair instructions for this repair? There must be
over a dozen screws to take out and it's not obvious how to do it.

Also, where is a good source for the part?

Thanks,
Howard

If you call JVC, they will refer you to their parts distributor for
your area. They can also supply the service manual. It takes
considerable experience to work on these cameras.
