Bush 1473T TV - R, G & B Separated Vertically?
 

My Bush 1473T TV has suddenly (fine one day, faulty the next) developed the
following fault:-

On both normal pictures and teletext, the red, green and blue appear to have
separated vertically e.g.

On normal pictures, some items on screen have coloured, vertical 'outlines'
leading to a 'blurred' effect. Also, sometimes, on normal pictures, a red
line is visible at the top of the screen, and a blue one at the bottom of
the screen.

On teletext, white text is displayed three times, once in red (above and
behind white), once in white and once in blue (below and behind white).
Yellow text is displayed once in red (above and behind), once in yellow etc.

Anyone know what the problem might be, and whether it is likely to be a
economical repair?

Projection set? It sounds like convergence, anyway.

Thanks for the reply.

Its just a 14" CRT - had it for a few years, and then, as mentioned, all of
a sudden, the fault occurred.

I assume that something is at fault, thereby causing the convergence
problems, rather than something requiring adjustment, to correct the
problem?
