Default Help Please Harmon Kardon AVR630 Surround Amp Power problem

HI

My harmon kardon AVR630 surround amp had developed a fault. The unit
got very hot and the fan came on for the first time ever. ( ive had
the amp for over a year )

After unpluging it and leaving it to cool down it will now power on
for 30 secs and then switches off.

Ive tried so see if any components are over heating with freezer spray
but no luck.

Does any one have any ideas ?

Thanks Jim

Measure the resistance of your speakers, also
make sure one woofer doesn't have a bad coil,
gentle push the woofer in on oppossite sides, &
listen for a slight scraping sound. Rono.

Thanks for your reply.

Ive tried different speakers and even with no speakers connected it
still turns off after about 50 secs
