Viewsonic P95f Jumps Horizontally

I have the exact symptom as described by another user here.
Unfortunately, my is a little bit over 3 years old.
Old capacitors?

"I have a 19" Viewsonic P95f that is just under 3 years old (the 3 year
warranty expires sometime in May). A few weeks ago the image started
to jump.

It only jumps horizontally by about 1/8". It jumps left/right/in/out.
The jumping happens randomly - sometimes hours, sometimes seconds
between jumps. I have tested the monitor on two different computers -
same problem. I typically run at 1600x1200 at 85Hz. The jumping still
occurs at lower resolutions and refresh rates, but it seems to be less
frequent. The jumping seems to be more frequent when the monitor is
cold - when it is just turned on.

Since it is still under warranty, I'm going to see what Viewsonic can
do about the problem. I'm still interested in what the problem could
be, if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks

Common to all older monitors. The electrolytic caps are getting too old and
need replaced.
Especially the high voltage ones.."

Nah, caps on the B+ line, and small electrolytics near vertical and
horizontal oscillator/deflection system.

I.
