Default Toshiba CE3211 shows in B&W only

Hi. Got a Toshiba CE3211 tv in today. Storm hit it. Runs fine except for 2
things. 1 -- shows in B&W only, except menu, which is in color. 2 -- sides
bowed in a bit, like a pincushion problem will appear. I have gone over it
for solder joints, shorted diodes, etc. Not to fill a page with what I have
checked, but curious if anyone has seen this before.

Cheers, Danny

If it has a TA series jungle, they are susceptible to chroma loss after
lightning hits (Zenith uses these). It might also solve the geometry
problem.

Cool, thanks. The TA1291N chip then. I haven't had many hurt Toshibas, so
this was a new problem for me. I figured to fish first before buying parts.

Cheers, Danny
