UPDATE: chassis 9-1156.
FIXED! Rather easily.
It was cracked solder on power input connector, one 100uF cap in SMPS but I changed other two anyway in vertical & horizontal circuit. Worked like charm on a console tv as test tv that was detined to the grabage and turned out chassis does not have closed caption support. So that kinda dampen the spirits. Watch out some old zenith models when yoke and convergence collar plastics get old, they crumbles like RITZ crackers! Cheers, Wizard |
