Mag TV RJ4324 dead 20F1 chassis
magnavox RJ4324 20F1 chassis is dead.
Found shorted HOT and blown fuse 504 I think...1 amp Flyback rings good. I replaced fuse and HOT. Set powered up for just a fraction of a second. Just long enough to shake dust off the HV lead. Blew fuse and HOT again. Nothing obvious bad. Caps check OK for ESR. I cant find any tips on the web for this chassis. Where should I look? Anyone have a schematic or service manual? Thanks to all. Fuse is F506 not 504
With Hot removed I get no 130 voltage. I replaced the str30130 but still no 130volt. I have 156 vdc at pin 3. pin2 has 133 vdc when turned on. pin4 goes up above 100 vdc for an instant( my fluke is too slow to read where it realy goes to) and quickly drops down to nothing. thanks roy "Roy and Rosa" wrote in message ... magnavox RJ4324 20F1 chassis is dead. Roy Rbeaty -at- grandecom.net most likely shutting down on over current. check the horizontal output transistor and flyback. etc.. |
