Solar garden light schematic.

Does anyone know the correct name for the oscillator in this LED garden
light?

Its quite tricky looking something up on Google when you don't know what its
called!

Looking at just the oscillator section, attached, I'd call it a
resonant blocking oscillator.

Take a look at the waveforms on the collector and the base to see
the blocking oscillator action, and the junction of the LC to see
the beautiful output of the tank.
