We try and avoid it (for logic). To my great dismay my copy of the TI TTL Data Book for Design Engineers uses IEC symbols. As does the Philips CMOS 4000 book. Graham |

That's pretty stupid, so I don't think it's too far-fetched to think that you're really stupid enough to think that we had no input to IEC 60617.
