Terry Given's 2500W ferrite transformer

is your math correct?, 2500W @ 16V is roughly 150 A
the windings would not last long at that current level
maybe in well spaced short pulses?
btw - I am not used to a transformer having a DC voltage rating, unless it is the breakdown voltage.
