RF Voltage Measurements CURLY Q
Response to thread in sci.electronics.design.
Wind these little probe tip holders and mount at measurement points. They will help eliminate a lot of trash from your signal. I keep two drill bits sized just right for my scope probes. Mike |

RF Voltage Measurements CURLY Q
Most scope probe manufacturers sell various little "vampire taps" connectors
that can be semi-permanently soldered down to your board for this sort of measurement -- it's rather less hassle than "curly Q's" if you're doing a lot of this... but of course this approach is great when you don't have or desire that option. |
