Default LTspice Question

LTspice Question:

I have a client using LTspice.

What is the best way for him to import a design from PSpice?

Would it work if I make my schematic into a SUBCKT that includes the
device models within the subcircuit?

Hire a consultant to help you, cheapskate.

Don Bowey sucks his own dick.

Whaddaya, jealous? ;-)

Cheers!

Hello Jim,

Yes this may be OK. LTspice is very compatible to PSPICE
except for digital devices.
Why making a subcircuit? Just run the netlist as it is.

Best regards,
Helmut

I suspect that at the level of simulation intended, the digital
devices ARE analog.

The SW manager at my first employer said that since Max Planck all
analog is digital ;-)

Indeed.

My first physics professor, who used to refer to a uniform bar as a
"military saloon", turned us on to the concept of the universe being
made not of jello, but of grits.

Analog is digital, and Planck is constant. Go figure. :-)

Give them the .CIR and .NET files. The .CIR file calls the .NET file.
LTspice will run the .CIR file without problem if you don't have any
goofy digital blocks.

Be sure to give friendly net names to all the points they want to
probe. Sucks having to search thru the net list for names.

That's what I sent them while I think about it, and I just got an
