Post central heating 3 port/way valve

Boiler working and i have hot water but no central heating, engineers say it is probably the 3 port/way valve that has gone, but i cany find it in the house have had floorboards up followed pipes any ideas of finding it

not sure what sort of heating system you have....
if its very old there may be no valve at all
your hot water may heat by gravity and the pump may only come on to heat your radiators.....it may be the pump thats faulty???



if you indeed do have a 3 port valve it is usually near the pump??
