I want to run an old Makita 9.6 volt drill off my car battery 12 volt (
actually 13.6 volt ) . What is the approriate resistor to use ?
-thanks
Well, the Mak 9.6V stick is at 10.8V at full charge,IIRC.
With the high currents to be drawn,I'd use a regulator IC instead of a
dropping resistor.
