If they were gate valves, or even simple service valves, I'd agree - but
that's not what I meant. Full flow quarter turn lever valves don't seize.


I normally use full bore lever operated or butterfly valves for that
kind of thing. Never had one of those fail yet.

Gate valves on the other hand, its rare to find one that works at all IME!
