** The idea is sometimes known as the "OOPS" system - for Out Of Phase
Stereo.

It balances the load on the common PSU at any point in time, reducing
voltage drop and electro cap ripple voltage.

Bob Carver used the idea in his famous M400a " Carver Cube" amp, et alia.
