You are dealing with hard glass. Almost anything that will not
scratch glass will work.

I use a copper 'scrubby' and 409 plus a bit of razor blade scraping
for the 'rim' around the edge. Dunno why that thin, narrow ring gets
on there but the scrubby doesn't really touch it. The special
cleaners seem a rather expensive way to do it.
