to being GPs simply because of the insanely-high Malpractice Insurance
Premiums demanded for their specialities. [Neurosurgery, for example]
Ah, so they don't make money looking at 132 coughs, colds, sprains,
and abrasions every day...at $140 a pop? Poor guys!
You must live in the Peoples' Republik of Kalipornia - the average GP
office visit around here is $35 and that gets split between the GP, his
nurse(s), and the clinic.
Close. I moved up a state 6 years ago. I'm now residing in the
Peoples' Republik of Oregon, an even more tightly regulated state.
