Default Connection armoured calbe to twin and earth cable

You should run an extra earth wire outside the cable and connect that to the
box also.

I understand how to terminate armoured cable in a metal box using a

Choc block of the appropriate size is fine, or you could crimp the joints.

Are you using one of the SWA cable's conductors as an earth, or using just
the armour for this? Either way, the armour needs to be connected to the
T&E's earth wire. the simplest way to achieve this is to use a piranha nut
on the gland, and attach a short fly-lead to it.
