Forgot to mention to clean the CRT chamber and lenses with denatured
alcohol then rinse with distilled water. Clean the orings with distilled
water because the alcohol will eat them. Seal the rings with 100% silicon
rubber. Use 100% cotton balls so you don't make scratches. This will
eliminate any uncertanties about a bacteria problem.

How about diluted chlorine bleach?
