Default Plans for a range/shooting box?

Wed, Jan 25, 2006, 7:27am (Odinn) doth sayeth:
Hmmm, I like a couple of those. Hadn't thought about a range box, but
then again, I usually only take one gun with me when out target
practicing (2 if the wife comes out to play as well).

Personally, I'm gonna go with the musket case type, but using
plywood - they will probably be knocked around some, and stored out of
sight, so durability ia primary over purty. One will be made for 3 air
rifles, side by side. One will be for 2 air rifles, side by side. The
rest for single guns.

For some reason your post brought to mind something I've seen
before. A golf bag type carrier (maybe one converted), holding a box at
the bottome, with ammo, and various supplies, and up to about 4-5 long
guns standing. Grab the handle and pull it, and it stood upright when
you stop. Not the most beautifule thing in the world, but very
functional. Should be able to pick up one of them used, cheat, and easy
to customize. Here's an example.

It'll work, but not much class.

Now, if you want some class, here's some examples. This popped up
using GUN CART for a google search.

And, this was the next thing to pop up.

Now, if you really wanted to be classy, I'd say make a miniature
covered wagon to carry all your gear, then get six or eight miniature
horses to pull it. Now that would be class.

You only need two tools: WD-40, and duct tape. If it doesn't move and
it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
