Its official, that tax and spend piece of dreck, Gray Davis, is
history. The California Elections board, just certified that the 1.2
million (not all counted by any means G) signatures are valid and are
grounds for the first Recall election in California history to proceed.

I think it's premature to call him 'history'. Davis has been
behaving like an idiot so far, but he CAN be an effective
campaigner; and the full might of the Democratic party (and
those who don't want a Republician in office) will start
lining up behind him.

This kind of reminds me of Argentina as it was collapsing,
where there were vicious political fights over who was going
to be steering what was basically a sinking ship...
