Default potterton puma 80 combi boiler problem

my heating is playing up! but hot Water is working fine. The heating clicks in and boiler fires up but after a very short time it stops as if the stat has told it tostop heating. The house is cold even with the stat on full and listening the stat is not clicking out but the boiler stops and radiators are cold???
please help

This is the actuator of the diverter valve.

Check for dripping hot taps, on a marginal fault this can make the
difference, for a short while.

You will need to buy the whole diverter valve about £80 but you only need
to replace the actuator at the front of the unit.
