Default FS: 110V portable isolating transformer for power tools etc.

Following my question asking whether it was OK to post a small personal
ad, here it is:

for sale, portable isolating transformer, 500VA, 240V in via 13A plug,
110V out via one BS4343 (yellow) industrial socket. Matching BS4343
plug thrown in. RS part number 207-605.

Rated at 500VA continuous, 750VA intermittent. Useful for 110V power
tools, running 110V equipment (imported from USA), etc.

Picture he URL:http://www.jasper.org.uk/transformer.jpg

The unit I have for sale is about half the height of the one pictured on
the right above, but is otherwise identical.

From the maker's blurb:

"High quality rugged portable safety isolating transformers designed to
ensure safe site electrics for Power Tools and Lighting etc.
Double wound with safety earth screen between windings."

"110V secondaries centre tapped to earth to minimise shock risk"
"All insulated yellow splashproof GRP enclosure"
"Thermal safety overload fuse embedded into primary winding"
"Approx. 2 metres mains cable fitted with 13A plug"
"High quality manufacturing and testing in accordance to EN60 742
BS3535"

Selling at RS for £58+VAT, asking ukp20. Due to weight, would prefer
not to ship but will if asked (buyer pays.)

Collection from North Wirral (10 min. Liverpool city centre)

please email mikeATjasperDOTorgDOTuk. The reply-to works.

RS prices are always worth a laugh.

TLC 500Va site transformer to BS3535 is 39.95 plus VAT.
