Cracks round window frame: which sealant?

Stripping the wallpaper in the kitchen has revealed cracks between the
window frame and brickwork/plaster.

Is it best to seal these cracks or just wallpaper over them?
What type of sealant to use -- a look on screwfix.com shows silicone
sealant, frame sealant etc.

I would use decorator's caulk which is available in tubes similar to
other sealants.

Decorators caulk if you want to paint over. If it really is in the corner
and will be the finished surface Silicon will look ok - either transparent
or white and you want 'Low Modulus' (LMA) which should reamin flexible even
when it gets cold - as it will!
