We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember (Steve Firth) saying something like: I've worked on my cars for years now, the problem with these bolts is that the torque is high anyway and there's very little movement between sufficient and broken. Yep. It is much harder to tell when enough is enough. Jerky is talking crap. No surprise there, then. |

Mostly one tends to think "put some clothes on" not for the sake of prudery but because of the unaesthetic nature of what is on show. I've no doubt that Jerky is a lens breaker. |

http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers...ys3_15822.htm? Bought one today. It's 28-210 Nm at accuracy of +/- 4% ('if used correctly'). Comes in a nice blow-mould case (as depicted). Made in Taiwan. Looks fine, I haven't tried it on anything yet. It appears to be very similar to Toolstation's example and only a few quid cheaper: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Auto...0/sd180/p78582 so probably not worth making a huge detour for. Theo |
