Default TF card v SD cards?

The new phone needs an 8Gb TF memory card. The socket for it in the
phone suggests it is about the size of a mobile phone sim card. On ebay
(looking at the photos and descriptions) they seem to have two types,
one square sided and another which tapers in along one side including
what looks like a hook shape on the same side. They also mention TF and
TF SD memory cards.

Could someone help resolve my confusion please?
