Refinishing varnished floor
Hi,
I have pine floorboards which I sanded and varnished some time ago with Ronseal diamond hard clear satin varnish. The floor really needs redoing - there are a few places where the varnish has come away, after some very sticky adhesive tape was stuck to it and then pulled up. Do I need to sand back to bare wood, or can I just key the existing varnish and put on another couple of coats? Cheers! Martin |

Martin The latter normally works well enough with polyurethane but it sands easily, and doesn't clog the paper, if you want to go the whole hog |
