Default Ideal Response 120 leak

About a year ago I replaced the 'O' ring on the DHW (domestic hot water)
flow valve, it has started to leak again. Has anyone else experienced a
similar failure (the switch is only plastic) and is it just coincidence that
the central heating has only been recently turned on?

Peter
