And fix the stupid holes in the way votes are tallied now. Then there will be less reason to recount.


A recount in Texas might make more of a difference in the popular vote than a recount in Michigan.

It might. But it wouldn't be necessary in any state, if we used a smarter system to tally votes.


The recount incentives would be different, so existing laws would not work well. And without an amendment to the Consitution the voting is controled by the states. So recounts would be different in various states.
