Hmmm, isn't that what the dealers call a "complete rebuild"? ;o)

I thought it is called "attention to details".

That has to be the best one yet. All ready for the scrap yard.
I keep imagining buyers showing up if it was advertised without a
picture and what the reactions would be.

It does sound funny, now that I think about it. The name can be
translated roughly as "Mach.Tool and Press".

You know, it is funny enough to see the leadscrew painted. But look at
the top left corner, above the handles and a little behind the front
of the lathe. There, it is supposed to be an ammeter gauge. They
painted it over too. Мудаки

They also have this listing for a rebar welding machine:

http://www.stankpress.ru/list/a711a08.html

The machine can supposedly weld rebar up to 80mm and do each weld in
45 seconds (80 per hour). But the photo does not engender confidence.

Their equipment list is here http://www.stankpress.ru/ and there are
some fun pictures to look at.

Wouldn't vodka dissolve wax in the papercup?

Good point!

Maybe the tipple went through the cup and removed the paint?

Only if you drink 180 proof, straight. Of course, some in the old
country most certainly drink it that way.
