I have a bunch of surplus #1 and #2 morse taper drill drivers and tap drivers.
No complete sets, but quite a variety of number, letter, fractional drill
drivers. Most are brand name (Scully-Jones, Collis, etc.) and most are more
like "new old stock" than used. I'd like to get $1.25 each -- which is about
10 cents on the dollar. Shipping is $3.85 for as many as I can safely stuff in

If you are not familiar with Morse taper drill and tap drivers, they have a
Morse taper on the outside and a cylindrical bore ID. Splits on the sleeve let
it grip the drill or tap when the driver is inserted in a morse taper spindle.
Sort of like a collet, but the drivers have a drive tang and are not threaded
for a draw bar. It is less expensive to buy standard drills and use a driver
instead of buying drills with morse taper shanks. Also, these drivers go to
much smaller sizes (like #51) than morse taper shank drills do. Using a morse
taper drill driver results in a much shorter set-up than using a drill chuck
and is arguably more accurate. One can grind a flat on the very end of medium
or larger drills to engage a notch in the drivers and provide positive drive.
Friction works fine for most smaller to medium size drills. The tap drivers
engage the square on the tap to provide positive drive.
