How to keep well pressure tank from sweating

We are having very hot & humid days. The pressure tank in my garage is
sweating profusely. What is the best method/material to insulate it.

The tank sits on a plastic stand and the fitting is on the bottom of the
tank.

Thanks for any help.

Wrap it with fiberglass R11 (or higher) insulation with the vapor
barrier out (away from the tank).

A water heater insulation blanket might be one option for a decent looking
insulation job. Cut the blanket to fit the height of the tank of course.

That's a very good suggestion.

If the well pressure tank is wrapped with fiberglass insulation, then if
any ambient air gets in there, won't the insulation get wet and mold? It
would be very hard to completely seal it because of the plastic base and
the fitting on the bottom. Of course, it is the botton part that sweats.

I wrapped mine with fibreglass insulatio batts and covered from top with a
vinyl garbage bag. Wrapped near the bottom with a nylon tie-wrap and that
diminished the problem significantly. Not sure that the sweating part is
necessarily the bottom - that's where the moisture falls to from all over
the tank. Running a dehumidifier nearby in the hot months will fix the
rest of the problem if still present.
