Low Voltage Lighting (MoonRays) + Swimming Pool?
I realize this isn't exactly a "home repair" question, but...
I'm planning on installing a few low voltage garden lights (MoonRays) around my backyard, including a few close to my in ground swimming pool. By close, it will be at least 3 feet since there's a 3 foot cement "walkway" surrounding the pool itself. Here's the actual lights I'm thinking of installing. They use 4-watt bulbs and comes with an 88 Watt transformer and use a low voltage cable to power all the lights. http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortmen...=1145633559439 Question is are there any risks to doing this, because my general understanding is that electricity + water + soft humans = bad times. Also if this is a big no-no, what would you recommend to light the area around my pool instead. Any advice welcome. |
