How Are Water Temp's Determined For A Maytag Washing Machine
Hello:
This is similar to a question I posted a while back. However, most of the respondents mentioned that I needed the actual Model No.to be able to answer correctly. Should have of course mentioned it at that time, but neglected to do so. Sorry. The Model No. is: MAH 5500BWW It's a Maytag Neptune front loader washing machine that was purchased in 2001. Not sure if anything has changed regarding the following question since then or not. Am very interested in learning how the water temperatures are derived. e.g., for "warm," is there an actual thermostat, or are the inlet cold and hot streams (each) merely timed for a predermined on period ? Or,... ? Thanks, Bob |
