Is it possible to do your own coverings for fascia and soffit?

I'm figuring that most of the fascia coverings are custom formed with a
sheet-metal bender, or does someone sell a set of fascia coverings in
typical widths?

I think it's doable, in my opinion that and gutters and roofing are
jobs I'm happy to hire out though because I perceive that I'm gettnig a
good value.

Drywall and plumbing on the other hand, I feel like I'm getting the
shaft, like they pay the workers x and then mark it up to 10x.
