how to paint over bright colors
I have a bathroom that's painted bright blue and yellow, latex enamel.
(I'd like to blame it on the previous owner, but I did it myself - doh!). Now I want to repaint it a light neutral color. What's the best way to go about this? Should I just start out with my final color and keep adding coats until it's covered? Thanks. |

Paint it first with a white primer, may need two coats. Primer is cheaper
than good quality paint... |

I had to paint over a blood red color in my daughters room (from previous
owner) my daughter wanted a light purple color instead. I had the primer tinted the same paint color as the purple my daughter wanted. One coat primer, one coat paint covered the blood red perfectly. Saved a lot of time and paint! "Bill" wrote in message ... Paint it first with a white primer, may need two coats. Primer is cheaper than good quality paint... |
