Is the sprocket nose worth the money? Not sure what your talking about. They all have a nose. Some may have a nose protector so you don't go near the danger zone of flyback. Could save your life. greg |

... Is the sprocket nose worth the money? You cannot disaggregate the cost of the bar nose sprocket from everything else. More expensive types (Stihl, Jonserud) all have sprockets -- but they would say the total price reflects total quality as well as totalled costs of components. I have owned Husqvarna and Poulan and prefer Stihl because of its greater reliability. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |
