When I bought a mattress recently, they had the same mattress with a
pillowtop and without. I opted for the one without. Now I'm finding
it a bit hard. I'd like to make a pillowtop that's as comfy as the one
in the store. There's eggcrate foam, memory foam, featherbeds...

My question is this: does anyone know what's actually in the pillowtops
sold by the mattress companies? Specifically what kind of material
they've got in there?

I can't find that info on the net anywhere. I figured that someone
would have cut one open and shown the cross section. (Heck - they take
apart every new iPod over at Gizmodo!)
