Default Plasma TV reliability

My friend had a plasma tv and said it was expensive to repair when it
broke down. Do these things break down more than regular television
sets?

Major concern tends to be the burn in probabilities of the plasma displays,
seen way too many with 4X3 and LOGO burn-in, generally due to the customer's
viewing habits. Even in some of the newer products with the "JOG" processing
in effect have occurred burn in.
