Even professional refinishing isn't going to hold up well
to a lot of abuse. e.g. pots, pans, cutlery etc. and a few
kids bashing the hell out of it on daily basis. If this is
a heavily used sink, I'd be inclined to live with it as is.

If it's a light wear application (e.g. a rarely used guest
room) you could try the refinishing. Just be sure to follow
all of the directions very carefully esp. with respect to
cleaning and degreasing the old surface prior to applying
the new one.
